Best Cheap Dates in Raleigh – by Debra Lytle
Going out for on date can be fun and great for any relationship, but sometimes it can become downright pricey! However, there are some great places in Raleigh to eat dinner for two, without having to break the bank! After a full day of work at Spencer Properties in North Raleigh Bedford Community, the last thing my husband or I feel like doing is cooking a giant meal and having to clean up afterward. We enjoy eating out and finding new restaurants and we are able to do it and stay within our budget.
Cameron Village Draft House -Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh! This is one of the best neighborhoods in Raleigh, quaint little shops and restaurants dot this downtown spot. The Draft House has the classic pub atmosphere with booth seating and bar seating along with patio seating in season. https://villagedrafthouse.com/
On Mondays they feature their Meatloaf special for $9.95. They have the classic meatloaf with mashed potatoes with the decadent gravy and choice of side. They also have an Italian version with tomato sauce and a heaping pile a mozerella and Parmesan cheese. They have over 100 beers!
I just love the cozy feel of this place. It is especially charming around the Christmas holidays with all the lights and displays. Great spot for a date!
Village Deli & Grill – This spot is also located in Cameron Village. The feature nightly dinner specials under $13.00! https://www.villagedeli.net/
The best thing about this restaurant is they have 4 locations Lake Boone Trail, Wake Forest and Morrisville. Now the menu varies from location to location. I have a sample of the specials from the Cameron Village location:
Monday – Teriyaki Glazed Salmon
Tuesday – Meatloaf
Wednesday – Spaghetti
Thursday – Fried Chicken
Friday – Fish Tacos
Why take the time to wash and dry dishes at home? A couple can dine out for a date for under $25.00.
