Best Boutiques in Raleigh – By Brooke Pancoast

Best Boutiques in Raleigh – Brooke Pancoast

The best of the boutiques world starts here in Raleigh! So many great places to visit outside of the mall experience. Those of you that like to shop for the unique designs and like the “boutique” atmosphere will be pleasantly surprised to hear the various locations of boutiques right here in Raleigh.

Depending on your mood, you have places to choose in the I-440 Inner Beltline and surrounding areas. If cruising from cute boutique to the next, followed by lunch or a cute coffee shop, then Cameron Village or North Hills is your place. You can make an afternoon of it by hopping around all of the boutiques.

North Hills is a great outdoor shopping area located in Midtown Raleigh. North Hills offers a variety of cute boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment. It’s a fun place to relax and get your shopping fix! The shops offer unique, one-of-a-kind items, to brand names, all known for their quality and fashionable style trends. Some of my favorites include, Anthropologie, Lou & Grey, Vineyard Vines, Peter Millar, Monkees, and more!

Cameron Village is another refreshing place to visit in Raleigh that offers an assortment of unique boutique shops and restaurants. Cameron Village has managed to reinvent itself throughout the decades and, like North Hills, offers a convenient and unique experience. A few of my favorite places to shop at CV are Uniquities, Kristens, Nadeau, Moon & Lola, and more! Plus, they have a two-story Chik-Fil-A, if you are looking for a yummy lunch on the go!

The local communities surrounding The North Hills and Cameron Village area are loyal to supporting their shops and restaurants, which gives off a great “family feel”.

North Raleigh also offers some great boutiques that are sometimes hard to find. Lafayette Village is located just South of 540 off Falls of Neuse and Honeycutt Rd. Lafayette Village is a very quaint shopping area built like a small French Village. It’s a fun place to shop followed by outdoor seating for lunch or dinner, as well as a glass of wine. Some of the great boutiques include Gigi’s, Violets, and Lisana Activewear. A few of the many wonderful restaurants to try are Farino, Sushi One, and Driftwood. If you are a coffee drink, be sure you pop in to Jubala Coffee for a delicious Almond Latte.

Boutique shopping for me is about the entire experience. It’s about the unique findings, and the quaint atmosphere.
